Terms of Use

Last Updated: July 15, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by Vero Dental (“Vero Dental,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including all pages, content, forms, tools, and services available through verodental.com (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Site.

These Terms apply only to your use of the Site. Additional notices, consent forms, financial policies, treatment agreements, or other terms may apply to dental services provided by Vero Dental.

1. Informational and Educational Purposes

The content available on the Site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

Nothing on the Site is intended to provide a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, prognosis, or substitute for an examination or consultation with a qualified dental or healthcare professional.

Dental conditions and treatment needs vary by individual. Information on the Site may not apply to your specific circumstances, and you should not delay or disregard professional dental or medical advice because of information you read on the Site.

Although we make reasonable efforts to provide helpful and current information, we do not guarantee that all Site content is complete, accurate, current, or appropriate for every individual.

2. No Emergency Services

The Site, its contact forms, virtual-consultation features, email addresses, and text-messaging services are not intended for emergencies.

If you are experiencing a medical or dental emergency, severe pain, uncontrolled bleeding, difficulty breathing, significant facial swelling, or another urgent condition, call 911 or seek immediate assistance from an appropriate healthcare provider.

Do not rely on a message, form submission, virtual-consultation request, email, or text message for urgent care.

3. Virtual Consultations

The Site may allow you to request a virtual consultation by submitting information such as your name, contact information, a description of the issue you would like addressed, and photographs.

Virtual consultations are intended to provide preliminary information and help determine possible next steps. They are not a substitute for an in-person clinical examination, diagnostic imaging, medical-history review, or other evaluation that may be necessary to provide a diagnosis or treatment recommendation.

Any treatment possibilities, cost estimates, timelines, or other information discussed during or following a virtual consultation are preliminary and may change after an in-person examination.

Submitting a virtual-consultation form does not guarantee:

  • That you are a candidate for any particular treatment
  • That Vero Dental will accept you as a patient
  • That a particular treatment or outcome will be available
  • That an appointment has been scheduled
  • That any quoted price, timeline, or treatment plan is final

Submitting a form or receiving a preliminary response through the Site does not, by itself, establish a provider-patient relationship. A provider-patient relationship is established only when Vero Dental formally agrees to provide care and any required clinical, consent, or administrative steps have been completed.

4. Appointment Requests and Communications

Any appointment request submitted through the Site is subject to confirmation by Vero Dental.

An appointment is not considered scheduled until you receive confirmation from our office. Website availability, automated messages, or preliminary communications do not guarantee that a requested date or time is available.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and for reviewing communications sent to you regarding appointments, consultations, or requested services.

5. Eligibility and Use by Minors

The Site is intended for use by adults and by parents or legal guardians acting on behalf of minors.

If you submit information regarding a minor, you represent that you are the minor’s parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to provide the information and request services on the minor’s behalf.

Minors should not independently submit personal, health-related, or photographic information through the Site without the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian.

6. Acceptable Use

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not use the Site:

  • In violation of any applicable federal, state, local, or international law
  • To submit false, fraudulent, misleading, or impersonated information
  • To gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or related accounts
  • To interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the Site
  • To introduce viruses, malicious code, harmful scripts, or other destructive material
  • To collect, scrape, harvest, or track information about other users
  • To conduct automated crawling, indexing, or extraction beyond ordinary search-engine activity
  • To send unsolicited messages, spam, phishing attempts, or fraudulent requests
  • To infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights
  • To harass, threaten, defame, intimidate, or harm another person
  • To use the Site or its content for an unlawful, obscene, abusive, or deceptive purpose
  • To circumvent security, access-control, privacy, or consent features
  • To misrepresent your identity or your relationship with another person or organization

We may restrict or terminate access to the Site if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or that access creates a security, legal, or operational risk.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its contents are owned by or licensed to Vero Dental and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade-dress, and other intellectual-property laws.

Protected materials may include:

  • Text
  • Photographs
  • Videos
  • Graphics
  • Logos
  • Practice names
  • Treatment descriptions
  • Page designs
  • Website layouts
  • Downloadable materials
  • Software
  • Code
  • Other original content

You may view and use Site content for your personal, noncommercial informational purposes.

You may not reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, sell, license, display, transmit, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission from Vero Dental or the applicable rights holder.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of or a license to use any Vero Dental trademark, logo, branding, or other proprietary material except as expressly permitted in writing.

8. Photographs and Site Content

Before-and-after photographs, smile-gallery images, patient stories, testimonials, and treatment examples are provided for illustrative purposes only.

Individual results vary. Past outcomes do not guarantee that another person will receive the same or similar results.

Photographs may reflect different clinical circumstances, treatment plans, lighting, positioning, healing stages, or other variables. You should not rely on a photograph or testimonial as a promise or guarantee of a specific outcome.

Vero Dental will use patient photographs or testimonials for public marketing only when appropriate authorization has been obtained.

9. Contact and Virtual-Consultation Submissions

Information submitted through contact forms and virtual-consultation forms is treated as private information and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable healthcare privacy requirements.

Contact and virtual-consultation submissions may include:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Telephone numbers
  • Private messages
  • Descriptions of dental concerns
  • Photographs
  • Other health-related or personal information voluntarily submitted

Submitting this information does not grant Vero Dental permission to publish it, use it as a testimonial, or use it in public advertising.

Vero Dental will not publicly use your private consultation information, dental photographs, health-related information, or identifying information without separate authorization when authorization is required.

You represent that:

  • The information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • You have the right to submit any photograph or other material provided
  • Your submission does not violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights
  • You are authorized to submit information concerning a minor or another person when applicable

Do not submit photographs or information belonging to another person unless you have permission and appropriate legal authority to do so.

10. Reviews, Testimonials, Suggestions, and Public Feedback

You may voluntarily provide reviews, testimonials, suggestions, ideas, or other feedback that is not part of a private contact or virtual-consultation submission.

If you expressly submit content for public use, or separately authorize Vero Dental to use it publicly, you grant Vero Dental a nonexclusive, royalty-free right to reproduce, display, edit for length or clarity, distribute, and use that content for the purposes covered by your authorization.

This section does not grant Vero Dental unrestricted rights to private health information, consultation photographs, private messages, or other information submitted for the purpose of requesting dental care.

You may not submit public content that:

  • Is false or misleading
  • Violates another person’s rights
  • Contains unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or abusive material
  • Contains confidential information that you are not authorized to disclose
  • Contains malicious software or harmful code
  • Misrepresents your identity or experience

We may remove public content that violates these Terms or that we otherwise determine is inappropriate for the Site.

11. Privacy and Health Information

Your submission of personal information through the Site is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Some information submitted through the Site may be health-related or may become protected health information under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”) or applicable state law.

When information is subject to HIPAA or another healthcare privacy requirement, Vero Dental will handle it as required by applicable law and any applicable Notice of Privacy Practices.

The Site’s Privacy Policy explains:

  • What information may be collected
  • How information is used
  • How contact and virtual-consultation information is handled
  • How cookies and analytics are used
  • What privacy choices are available
  • How to contact Vero Dental with privacy-related questions

12. Cookies and Analytics

The Site may use technologies necessary to operate, secure, and maintain its functionality.

Optional analytics and advertising-measurement technologies are controlled through the Site’s cookie-consent notice. You may accept or reject those optional technologies and may change your choice through the Cookie Preferences link.

Vero Dental does not permit personalized advertising or the use of form contents, consultation photographs, descriptions of dental concerns, patient information, or health-related information for Google Analytics or Google Ads.

Additional information is available in our Privacy Policy.

13. SMS and Text Communications

By providing your mobile telephone number and agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to receive messages from Vero Dental related to your inquiry, consultation, appointments, treatment, account, or other interactions with our office.

Messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations
  • Appointment reminders
  • Scheduling communications
  • Follow-up messages
  • Responses to your inquiry
  • Office updates
  • Service-related notifications
  • Other communications you request or authorize

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and service plan.

You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, you may receive a final message confirming the opt-out. You will not receive additional text messages unless you later provide consent again, except where communications are otherwise permitted or required by law.

For assistance, reply HELP or contact Vero Dental directly.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing dental services.

You are responsible for ensuring that the telephone number you provide is accurate and belongs to you or that you are authorized to use it. You should promptly notify Vero Dental if your telephone number changes or is reassigned.

Your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Email Communications

If you provide your email address, Vero Dental may use it to respond to your inquiry, communicate about appointments or services, send information you requested, or provide other appropriate communications.

Email is not always a secure communication method. You should avoid sending highly sensitive information through ordinary email unless specifically instructed to do so through an approved secure method.

You may unsubscribe from optional marketing emails by using the unsubscribe instructions included in those communications. Service-related, appointment-related, or legally required communications may continue when appropriate.

15. Third-Party Tools and Services

The Site may provide access to or integrate with third-party tools and services, including services related to:

  • Scheduling
  • Communications
  • Virtual consultations
  • Text messaging
  • Bill payment
  • Financing
  • Website hosting
  • Security
  • Analytics
  • Maps
  • Videos
  • Social media
  • Reviews

Third-party services may be operated independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and availability requirements.

Your use of an independent third-party service may be governed by that provider’s terms and policies. Vero Dental is not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, privacy practices, security, or performance of an independent third-party service except to the extent required by applicable law.

The inclusion of a link or third-party tool does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of every product, service, statement, or practice associated with that third party.

You should review the applicable third-party terms and privacy policies before providing information or completing a transaction.

16. Payment and Financing Links

The Site may link to third-party services that allow patients to pay bills, apply for financing, review payment options, or complete other financial transactions.

Payment and financing decisions may be made by independent providers and may be subject to separate terms, fees, eligibility requirements, credit approval, or privacy practices.

Vero Dental does not guarantee approval for financing or the continued availability of any third-party payment or financing service.

Any estimated treatment cost displayed or discussed through the Site is preliminary unless confirmed in a formal treatment plan or financial agreement.

17. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to websites that are not owned or controlled by Vero Dental.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, security, or privacy practices of third-party websites. Visiting a third-party website is at your own discretion and risk.

Questions or disputes regarding a third-party website, product, transaction, or service should be directed to the relevant third party.

18. Website Availability and Changes

We may modify, update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any portion of the Site at any time.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Site will always be available
  • The Site will operate without interruption or error
  • Every feature will remain available
  • Defects will always be corrected immediately
  • The Site will be free from viruses or other harmful components
  • Information will always be current or complete

We may perform maintenance, make technical changes, add or remove features, or restrict access when reasonably necessary.

To the extent permitted by law, Vero Dental is not liable for interruptions, delays, data loss, or inability to access the Site.

19. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

The Site may occasionally contain typographical errors, outdated information, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to services, providers, availability, scheduling, pricing, financing, treatment descriptions, or other practice information.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or change Site content at any time without prior notice.

Nothing displayed on the Site creates a binding price quote, treatment guarantee, appointment confirmation, or contractual commitment unless expressly confirmed by Vero Dental in a separate written agreement.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and all content, features, and tools made available through it are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Vero Dental disclaims all warranties regarding the Site, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Site will meet your individual needs
  • Site information will be sufficient to diagnose or treat a condition
  • Virtual-consultation information will be complete or conclusive
  • Use of the Site will produce a specific dental, medical, cosmetic, or financial outcome
  • The Site will be uninterrupted, secure, current, accurate, or error-free

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or obligation that cannot legally be excluded.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vero Dental and its owners, dentists, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

  • Your access to or use of the Site
  • Your inability to access or use the Site
  • Reliance on Site content
  • Delayed, lost, or incomplete form submissions
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of transmissions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded
  • Third-party tools, websites, payment services, or communications
  • Errors, interruptions, or security events
  • Any treatment decision made without an appropriate professional examination

This limitation includes, where permitted by law, loss of data, loss of opportunity, lost profits, replacement costs, or similar damages, regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if the possibility of such damages was known.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for professional dental services where liability cannot legally be limited, nor does it waive any rights or remedies available under applicable healthcare, consumer-protection, or other laws.

Where a limitation of liability is not permitted, liability will be limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.

22. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vero Dental and its owners, dentists, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, costs, or reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from:

  • Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Site
  • Your material violation of these Terms
  • Information or material you submit without the right or authority to do so
  • Your infringement of another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights
  • Malicious, fraudulent, or abusive activity conducted through the Site

This provision does not require you to indemnify Vero Dental for conduct for which indemnification is prohibited by law.

23. Termination or Restriction of Access

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Site if we reasonably believe that:

  • You violated these Terms
  • Your use is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive
  • Your activity threatens the Site’s security or operation
  • Restriction is necessary to comply with law or protect another person

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, indemnification, governing-law, and dispute-related provisions—will remain effective after access ends.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

25. No Waiver

A failure by Vero Dental to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.

Any waiver must be expressly made in writing by an authorized representative of Vero Dental.

26. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and Vero Dental regarding your use of the Site.

These Terms do not replace or modify separate clinical consent forms, treatment agreements, financial arrangements, payment policies, Notice of Privacy Practices, or other agreements that may apply when you receive dental services.

27. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising solely from the use of the Site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate state or federal courts serving Utah, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

This governing-law provision does not limit any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection, healthcare, privacy, or other laws.

28. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our services, our business practices, or applicable legal requirements.

When we update these Terms, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with a revision, you should stop using the Site.
